Mankind has abused nature from the minute he started interfering with the natural environment. One has to be pretty thick now , to think on what we have done to the natural world, and to think it is having no effect on the planet.
You know, there are now 3 main topics that humans are divided over.
Is there a God or not?
Is Darwin right, and is everything a result of evolution?
and:
Are the actions of mankind slowly destroying the planet?
I am not giving answers or opinions here: I am merely stating the present thinking.
Because Al Gore is profiting from it and uses 100 times the fossil fuels that an ordinary Citizen uses. It is painful to see the Liberals ignore this. I don't believe Republicans oppose conservation. Most people see that cleaner technology is not only healthier for the planet, for us, and for our economy, but also for our dependence on oil from our enemies.
The issue I have is watching the government tax carbon credits and thus control who makes money. This will be a serious blow to the consumer, and they know that.
I hope you don't drive a car, or heat or cool your home. If you do, your part of your global warming problem. Gore needs to practice what he preaches, with his big mansion, gas guzzling cars and jetting all over the place. It sure has made him alot of money hasn't it.
It is really weird indeed that the temperature of the earth as a whole has gotten cooler over the past few decades, all while some areas have gotten warmer.
Regardless of this confusing data, the jury is still out on the "cause" of perceived warmness, not that it is occuring in certain areas, manly because the earth was warmer than today, long before man could have affected it.
Yeah like that huge storm that is hitting the east coast , just in time for the global warming protesters to get caught freezing i the snow . Now that's a funny picture .

OH please. Why is it so hard for you greenies to understand that the climate like the economy goes in cycles?! You can actually ask this question and make this statement after one of the coldest winters in 15 years and when just about every conference on global warming has had to be held during record breaking snow storms?!
I remember when in the 80's global cooling was the problem and if we didn't do something about right then the earth as we know it was going to end in 20 years. Well here we are almost 30 years later and nothing happened! Find something else to worry about. Or better yet how about you live your low carbon footprint lifestyle and leave the rest of us alone!
There is no concrete evidence that humans could do anything to reverse what is probably a natural cycle. Some 30,000 scientists recently signed a petition to rethink the causes of global warming. 30,000 scientists doubt that global warming is man made or can be stopped. They point to hard evidence that the warming is cyclical and has happened before. Just 40 or 50 years ago the global warming crowd was screaming about the new ice age about to hit us.
Gore and a lot of others have made a fortune on " global warming".
The new cap and trade policies proposed by Obama and Pelosi will do little to reduce CO2 emissions but will hurt our economy and the lives of our citizens enormously. The cost of everything you but will skyrocket especially energy for heating your home, driving your car, growing our food, etc.
Our standard of living is going to decrease substantially.
Not all of us will suffer however. Those who climb aboard Gore's global warming train will make a bundle just as he has.
This so called global warming is caused by "Solar Irradiance" which is constantly changing based on "Sun Spot" activity during the different natural stages of the suns 11 year "Sun Cycle".
"But if we, as humans, can change our energy consumption to reverse what is happening, why are Repubs so negative about it?"
We do waste a lot of energy and resources I will agree with that but reversing this based on lies isn't the way to do it (and this would have little to no impact on so called Global Warming).
Fact is MAN MADE Global Warming is a complete hoax.

According to that logic a lot of places SHOULD be underwater TODAY (Since they have been saying this crap for years now. Bill Clinton said in the early 90's that we had 10 years to reverse this trend before island chains such as the Maldives would be underwater... it has been close to 20 now... what's the delay?). Also you might want to look at the temperature records for the last 2 years (since we are actually in a cooling trend (as the sun started shifting into its cooling cycle in 2007)). Also keep watching for the term "Global Warming" to slowly be used less and less while being replaced with the term "Climate Change" (which refers to natural weather changes, which is part of the plan (Bait & Switch)).
Unfortunately we live in a time where lies have become common place and people distrust their own logic while blindly trusting authority figures without question.
Anyways enjoy the scams... oh ya and enjoy the new carbon credit currency that they will be announcing soon (which is one of the primary reason for this hoax).
