Is an "FLDS Mormon Compound Wife" costume still relevant?

I really, really want to be an FLDS Compound Wife for Halloween. Here are some examples:

Would this be recognizable, given that their story was in the media months ago? I think it's hysterical, but only if people "get it". Otherwise I'll just look like an extra from Little House on the Prairie or something.

I know it's kind've offensive, which is really what I'm going for this Hallowe'en. I just don't know if it'll translate well.

Maybe you could hang a sign around your neck that says "Wife #4" or something like that.

i think it will work well. maybe have a few baby dolls to carry, no make up, and the hairdo is a must!
