I'm Traveling To SanDiego, SanFransisco, SaltLakeCity, Utah, LasVegas, KansasCity & Germany, Vienna in Europe

But I'm at each port for a day. It's my first trip out of Asia! I'm tagging along with ppl on business trip, but I could spare a while to hangout.

What shouldn't I miss at any of these places (even if I have an hour free) and can you tell me if it's a safe city for a woman to be wondering around alone.

Serious answers please. I want to have a great time in the little time I have.

My husband and I were in Vienna for only one day. Since our time was so limited we decided on a bus tour so that we could get a feel for the city. There were headphones (in many languages) on the bus that pointed out the various sites you were seeing. More importantly, you could get off at any stop that interested you (there was a written guide I think to let you know what you could see at various stops) - wander around on your own for as long as you wanted then get on the next bus. The buses were scheduled for each stop at regular intervals. The buses were tourist type buses so they stopped at the "highlights" of the city. I should be home later this week and I will find the exact name of the line, price and additional info and post at that time.

I lived in the SF Bay area for several years. My favorite night time dinner/entertainment is Teatro ZinZanni. My husband and I were having a rough day, arguing, our dog was sick etc - we had tickets to ZinZanni a friend had given us for my birthday. We laughed until we cried. It was an absolutely wonderful evening. Their theme is "Love, Chaos, and Dinner" .You can get more info at www.love.zinzanni.org and google Teatro Zin Zanni San Francisco for reviews.

Where are you going in Germany?

Each one of these places are cities you won't be able to see all in one day. San Diego, you could go to Coronado for the beaches and in the Downtown area you can check out the more historic buildings. Or you can go to La Jolla instead of Coronado and personally, I think it looks a little more beautiful. In San Francisco, go to Golden Gate Park and Bridge, Alcatraz, Coit Tower, Lombard Street (the really curvy street), and the Transamerica Pyramid. In Vegas, go to The Strip, Caesar's Palace, the Stratosphere Tower, and Treasure Island, pretty much all the hotel/casinos. I haven't gone to Salt Lake City, Kansas City, Germany, and Vienna. Sorry
