Bullet holes in Pat Tillman raised suspicions about his death, documents show

SAN FRANCISCO | Army medical examiners were suspicious about the close proximity of the three bullet holes in Pat Tillman’s forehead, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.

The examiners tried without success to get authorities to investigate whether the former NFL player’s death in Afghanistan amounted to a crime, the documents show.

“The medical evidence did not match up with the scenario as described,” a doctor who examined Tillman’s body after he was killed on the battlefield in Afghanistan in 2004 told investigators.

It's an old question, but still no answers. Tillman was not shot by the enemy, but exactly who shot him is not clear. The coroner's report said that he was shot at close range. Figure that one out. Also, the mysterious part of it is that the clothing he was wearing at the time of his death was destroyed. Why?

It is a shame when a government cannot clearly reveal the truth about the death of a soldier, hiding the facts for purely political reasons and now, years afterward, still hemming and hawing and failing to reveal what happened.

First off, how is this Bush's fault??? Was Bush in the Field when this particular Troop died??? Was Bush on scene?? NO!!! Bush got the story second or third version by the Army chain of Command, Was there a cover up in this troop's death, it looks like it, who covered it up, probably the soldiers on scene and the chain of command!!! But since you were probably have never servered in the Military, but thinks you know about the Military, stop desecrating this troops death even further. Also unit commanders have no idea of whats really going on with troops regarding esprit de core of the troops or troop to troop problems since the chain of command hides it at the lowest possible level to ensure all is well.

I really don't know but anything is possible, as Governor of Texas Bush watched more executions then any other Governor. HoneybeeJim is all over it. VP Cheney shot him accidentally during a bird hunting expedition. They drug his body to Afghanistan, put on the first uniform they could find (with wings) and dropped his cold body in the desert. This is obviously a case of executive execution. It seems to go deeper than that. I have posed this question over an over and not gotten an answer. Was Pat Tillman Airborne Qualified? No one seems to have first hand knowlege or evidence that he went to Jump School. There do not seem to be any photographs of him wearing Airborne Wings. Jump School is a prerequisite for Ranger training. If he was not, then why in the world would he be assigned to a Ranger Battalion in Combat?

Was he being set up to be a "Martyr" for the war? They let his assasin go and gave Tillman a Silver Star Posthumously.

Just think about it. Would Bush have given a public medal for Tillman's hero status if he had know the truth? Why would he embarrass himself like that. He wasn't told about it until after he did that...and maybe the question is "who decided to keep it from him"...until after that....maybe hoping it would humiliate him? I think that is the interesting question.

For a long time it has been obvious that he has many enemies in the Pentagon, etc....who are not on the side of the President. Maybe he should have "cleaned house" better when he first came into office after President Clinton. Perhaps one of the reasons he decided rather late to fire some U.S. Attorneys. Why does no one mention that President Clinton fired them all when he came into office...something like 68 of them. And no one mentions it.
