Will Bush ever side with the environment over big business?

http://www.kansascity.com/news/nation/story/449833.html

This administration will do anything for Oil, caring little for the lives of soldiers, civilians, or endangered animals.

I wouldn't bet on it.

sure...just as soon as "the environment" comes up with a plan to employ several million citizens and provide sizeable benefits and frequent vacations...

do you even care about our economy?

Funny. I will bet that your very next question will be "Why hasn't Bush done anything about gas prices?"

Reality is nice. Try some.

He shouldnt, esp when most of the reports on the enviroment are hysterical "projections" of what might happen if we happened to get the predictions right.

They didnt seem to have it right 30 years ago when they were screaming global cooling, ice age. Good thing nobody tried to mess with business over those projections.

Sadly NO!

He is in bed with them making money for his family too!

Why do you think we have high gas prices, his family owns the rights to 85% of the oil wells in Texas!

He asked OPEC to raise production, they said no cap prices in the US! They know the truth but the US does not.

He signed the gas mileage regulations last month.

If he doesn't do something soon, a new oil rig will explode, and the shrapnel will kill hundreds of polar bears, making them extinct. The explosion will release toxic fumes into the atmosphere, causing global warming and acid rain. The poor people won't be able to find shelter from the acid rain, and will be melting in the streets, and all of this will be Bush's fault for letting them drill new oil wells within 100 miles of polar bears.

Till the time environment becomes a big business and it will soon be

don't hold your breath on that.
